JADE 4.2 and WADE 3.1 have been released. The most relevant improvements in JADE 4.2 are related to the BackEnd Management Service that manages split containers using asynchronous I/O and ensures high scalability. Several improvements and fixes where introduced so that a single instance of the service can now handle thousands of split containers in a robust and efficient way.
A complete practical tutorial on WADE will be held at the 6th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing (IDC 2012) that takes place in September 24-26, 2012 in Calabria, Italy. The tutorial will provide an overview of the WADE platform and then will focus on the new features included in release 3.1 (planned for the beginning of June) and in particular on the WADE Interactivity package that provides support for implementing workflow driven interactive procedures .
