Hello,
Somebody was writing that JADE 3.0 release is in preparation.
I was wondering if there is any information available what new will be
done in Ontologies in JADE.
We are using JADE for one project where we use ontologies and we made
several extensions which were needed for sucessful development of the
project
We would like to participate with code or at least in discussion what
new is happening with ontologies in JADE 3.0
we would suggest changes and additions in the following:
- Ontology.class
getAllConcepts
getAllPredicates
adding schemas automatically (just class and it will parse all
variables of class)
- Schemas
addSuperSchema - not implemented for predicates
some more static methods for ontology classes and instatnces handling
(methods for returning all variables of ontology class, all
superclasses and subclasses)
-Predicate, Concept should implement serializable to be able to store
knowlege
In our project we are building ontological questions from ontology.
These questions are not too natural when using class names as terms so
we identified a problem - concept schemas should be somehow described by
natural language. We are not sure yet how this should be done.
Please let us know if you plan to include some of the mentioned
extensions and changes.
