Two months ago I had the same problem and I sent a mail to the beangenerator author,Chris van Aart, reporting to him the bug.
Hi fixed it and he updated the beangenerator. You can download the fixed version from: gaper.swi.psy.uva.nl/beangenerator
Now, I have no problems when I use the beangenerator.

Hello Amantle!
Here what I have found, trying to use beangenerator, to generate ontologia.
I admit than this way may not be the right way to do and hope not all of the users
have this problems. But... Here they are:
1. I use beangenerator with JADE-2.6 (with 2.61 it does't work. See the previous
error) and Protege-2000 1.8-beta (also it works with 1.7).
2. After successfully "genetating the beans" I need to modify ProjectOntologija.java
file, where, after // vocabulary section there is description of the types.
I don't know why, but both with Protege v 1.7 and 1.8 beangenerator recognize only the
type "STRING". And if you define any INTEGER or FLOAT it stores like STRING
During the compilation you will not get an error, but later, when you try to execute
fillContent(msg,obj) JADE generates an error about "incompatible types"
So - go to the YourProjectOntologia.java file and fix this manualy.
3. Then you can compile the source files and use your ontologia.

P.S. Note: There are some types, which are in Protege, but not in BasicOntologia in
JADE. For example "Symbol" with values. It's also the constraint.
Morale: I'm looking for another tool to generate ontologia... Any help is accepted! :)
