sniffing mobile agents

Subject: sniffing mobile agents

Hello all,

I am currently looking for a way to sniff a mobile agent. The reason for
this is that I want to track the messaging activity of the agent. For
resident agents
this is not a problem, but with mobile agents it is. I tried the following:
I started an instance of the MobileAgent in Container1, then started an
empty container Container2. I can sniff the MobileAgewnt as long as it's
residing in
it's origin container (Container1). If I migrate it to Container2, it's not
sniffable any more. If the agent migrates back to it's origin container
(Container1), it's
sniffable again.
So my question is: Is there a way to sniff the agent after it migrated
to another container? I could modify the AMS in a way that it tracks all
messaging, but I am looking for an easier way, without having to patch the
AMS. Can anyone help?

thx,

felix
