Subject: How to shut down a container without close the JVM...

I'm using the wrapper package to handle my container from an external
java application
I've created with success a new container but if I use the kill() method
of the jade.wrapper.AgentContainer class an undesired side-effect
happens: the current JVM instance (where my external application is
running) is closed!
The createAgentContainer allows to create a new container in my
application but i cannot close it (without kill my application)!
How to do my desired behaviour?
